Jeff Dworkin, the President of JLD Custom Homes, has been in the business of building new homes for over 30 years. Before starting JLD Custom Homes, Jeff was a Division President for one of the largest builders in the Metroplex.
JLD Custom Homes slogan is simple, “Building custom style homes for that discerning buyer”. Each home goes through a rigorous inspection process throughout its’ construction.
With management that has over 50 years of experience in the new home business, we are able to ensure that each step in the process of building a home is completed to the highest quality and standards.
HOW WE
BUILD
Jeff personally walks each home throughout the process and performs an extensive final walkthrough to ensure that each and every JLD Custom Home is delivered to the “discerning buyer” in mint condition.
Each home is professionally designed by one of Dallas’ pre-eminent home designers. The interior finishes (cabinets, flooring, paint, brick color, etc.) are then selected with a professional designer.
Trusted brand name products like Bosch, Lennox, Delta, Sherwin Williams, Hardie, Rinnai are used throughout the construction of each home. Each home is backed by a comprehensive 1-year warranty, a 2-year mechanical warranty, and a 10-year structural warranty. The 10-year structural warranty is backed by Maverick (f/k/a Bonded Builders Warranty) for your peace of mind.

Where We
Build
JLD Custom Homes offers homes in well established and growing areas of Dallas. The White Rock Lake area has 1000 acres with hiking and biking trails and is close to downtown providing easy access to most areas in the Metroplex.
The Lakewood Heights area, which is located just south of the "M" street area and west of Lakewood offers numerous restaurants, grocery stores including Whole Foods and Trader Joe's, shopping at Lakewood Village, and close access to golf courses, Baylor Medical District, and downtown.
